Dear Senior Cub Parents,
The Epping Forest South Scout District are holding a sixer and seconder weekend camp at Thriftwood scout camp. The camp will run from 18:00, Friday 28th June to 14:00, Sunday 30th June.
This district camp is specifically for older cubs and includes a fixed programme of site activities on the Saturday. On the Sunday we try to include any outstanding challenge badge work the cubs need to do towards their Chief Scout Silver Award. In addition, the cubs help pitch camp, using the smaller scout section tents and help prepare and cook meals. This is all intended to prepare them for their participation in future scout section camps.
