Dear Cub Parents,
This year our Dad and Cub Camp will once again be held at Thriftwood in Brentwood.
For new cubs and parents, this is our annual weekend outdoor camp where cubs and dads are invited, although any cub whose dad is unable to come is still very welcome. In certain circumstances mums can attend instead. The cubs sleep together in eight-person tents and not in their dads tents. The camp will have its usual format with “Romans” as this year’s theme and the cubs, with their dads, will be working in sixes together. As usual there will be an inter-six competition for the cubs and their dads, which in previous years has been a close and rigorously fought affair.
There will be a full programme of activities throughout the weekend most of which will also include badge work which is more difficult to fit into our Monday meetings. Camps and...
